Holly is an approximately 12 year old Miniature Dachshund who is in need of a new home after her single owner passed away, no family members were willing to keep her. Holly’s owner had been very sick for some time so her care was neglected and she had severe dental disease, so bad we discovered she had a broken jaw when we x rayed her mouth. We needed to pull most of her teeth since they were mostly rotted away, I believe she has 4 teeth remaining and they should also be pulled next time she has a dental. Holly would love a very quiet home with no children or active dogs as she’s lived with a senior man her whole life and likely never left her home. Holly is very slow to accept new people and she doesn’t like to be picked up (but she likes to be held).
